Trina N. Goethals

Ms. Goethals is an associate in our Columbus, Ohio office where she practices in the areas of domestic relations, probate and general litigation. Ms. Goethals earned her law degree from Capital University Law School in 2005, achieved academic honors and was a member of the school's mock trial team. While in law school, Ms. Goethals worked for The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy at Capital Law School. She also clerked at the Attorney General's Office and at Maguire & Schneider, LLP. Ms. Goethals licensed in Ohio and Missouri.

Before attending law school, Ms. Goethals graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Central Missouri State University. After graduating from Central Missouri, Ms. Goethals was a news reporter for two daily newspapers in Northern Virginia where she covered several high profile cases as a courts and justice reporter.

Ms. Goethals is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. Ms. Goethals also serves on the Young Professionals Board for Ronald McDonald House.
