Blake C. Jones
Maguire & Schneider Successfully Defends the Constitutionality of Ohio Statute
Mr. Jones is an associate in the general litigation group at Maguire & Schneider. His practice areas include corporate and small business litigation, construction litigation, professional liability defense for real estate agents and attorneys, white color criminal defense, constitutional litigation, and employment law—including workers’ compensation disputes.
Mr. Jones received his law degree magna cum laude from Capital University in 2010. While in law school, Mr. Jones earned several academic honors including Order of the Curia, the Dean’s excellence award, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, given to the student with the highest grade in each class, for both Corporate Finance and Corporate Acquisitions & Reorganizations. Mr. Jones was also a member of the Capital University Law Review, serving as a staff member and an associate editor.
Prior to law school, Mr. Jones graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. After graduating from Ohio State, Mr. Jones worked as a credit representative at Cardinal Health in Dublin, Ohio.
Mr. Jones is a member of the American Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
