Maguire & Schneider, LLP partner Bradley Davis Barbin convinced the 9th District Court of Appeals in Akron to reverse a high profile murder conviction on March 21, 2007.  The court further ordered the immediate release of a fifty two year old mother of seven, who had been serving a life sentence. Mr. Barbin presented the oral argument in January 2007. He indicated that the murder conviction was based entirely upon circumstantial evidence and that the three judge panel reversed the conviction for insufficient evidence.
